Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua Dengan Pengetahuan Tentang Imunisasai Dasar Anak Di Desa Gle Dagang Kecamatan Sawang Kabupaten Aceh Utara
Abstract
Basic immunization is one of the most effective public health interventions in preventing infectious diseases in children. The level of parents’ knowledge about basic immunization is influenced by various factors, one of which is educational level. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parents’ educational level and their knowledge of basic childhood immunization in Gle Dagang Village, Sawang District, North Aceh Regency.
This research used an analytical observational method with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 23 parents with children aged 0–18 months, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using univariate analysis and the Chi-Square test.
The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge (73.9%). The Chi-Square test indicated that there was no significant relationship between parents’ educational level and their knowledge of basic childhood immunization (p > 0.05).
Conclusion: parent’s educational level is not significantly associated with knowledge of basic childhood immunization
